Armand Gutheim

Armand Gutheim is a multitalented artist who has been active in various creative fields for over four decades. He is a prolific composer, director, artist, choreographer, and producer, known for his works in theater, music, film, and TV. Gutheim's journey began at the prestigious Royal Swedish Opera Ballet School when he was just eight years old. Over the years, he has expanded his skills and knowledge by studying at different institutions in Sweden, France, and Denmark, specializing in music, theater, and film.

Gutheim's professional career took off when he was 19, and he began taking on project-related assignments at various theaters, ensembles, and recording studios. In the 80s, Gutheim became a member of the renowned Cullberg Ballet and worked there as a dancer. In 1991, he co-founded Mother Earth Artists with the goal of working more multidisciplinary.

At Mother Earth Artists, Gutheim has directed, composed, produced, and performed in a diverse range of projects, both for popular and serious modernistic music. He has worked for clients such as the Royal Swedish Opera, Malmö Opera, and region music organizations. As a composer, he has composed electro-acoustic music, works for chamber ensemble, percussion ensemble, and piano.

Gutheim's productions are known for their empathy and involvement in addressing significant human issues, often with a twinkle in his eye. He has mostly created stage productions for a family audience but has also ventured into creating short movies in recent years. In 2015, Gutheim signed a deal with The Sublunar Society, an independent label, and has released a single and an album with them.
