Arielle Meloul-Wechsler serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Public Affairs at Air Canada. She has been part of the airline's executive team since 2013, overseeing a range of functions including human resources, culture change initiatives, labour relations, customer service training, and communications.14 Under her leadership, Air Canada has received numerous accolades, such as being named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers and recognized for its corporate culture and diversity efforts.1
Before her current role, Arielle held various positions within Air Canada, including Assistant General Counsel and Director of Legal Services, where she was involved in corporate financing and legal advisory services during significant transactions like Aeroplan's IPO.12 She has also practiced law at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg prior to joining Air Canada in 1997.2
Arielle is actively engaged in the aviation industry; she was elected President of the Airline People Directors’ Council in March 2017 and has been recognized as one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women in Business by the Women’s Executive Network.13 Additionally, she holds a Civil Law degree from the Université de Montreal and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from McGill University.1
