Arianna Janoff, Ph.D.
Arianna Janoff is an accomplished scholar with a passion for linguistics and sociology. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at Pitzer College, she pursued her Master of Arts in English Linguistics at North Carolina State University, where she graduated with a Cumulative GPA of 3.967. Not satisfied with two degrees, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Sociolinguistics at Georgetown University before completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociolinguistics with a Cumulative GPA of 3.789, also from Georgetown University.
In addition to her academic experience, Arianna has had multiple roles in various organizations. At Georgetown University, she served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, as well as a Library Student Assistant. She also held a position of laboratory manager and Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University.
Arianna's diverse experience also includes teaching and coaching young children, having served as Lead Preschool Teacher at Ohr Kodesh Congregation and a teacher at B'nai Tzedek. She also worked as the Lead Ambassador for Language Diversity Ambassadors at North Carolina State University and a SummerSTART Tutor.
Outside the academic environment, she was formerly employed as a Front Desk Staff and Zoom Producer at YogaWorks, Inc. and Flow Yoga Center, respectively. This breadth of experience has made Arianna a multi-talented and dynamic individual.
