Ariana Cancelli

Ariana Cancelli is an urban planner and community engagement specialist based in Toronto, focusing on creating healthy, sustainable, and economically viable cities and communities.

Her skills include managing collaborative plans, community engagement processes, public events, communication strategies, research and analysis, report writing, and project management.

Ariana's areas of focus include parks, sustainability, land-use planning, neighborhood revitalization, community wellbeing, and environmental stewardship.

With a background in urban planning, community engagement, facilitation, and communications, she integrates design, media, and communication platforms for effective planning processes.

She has contributed to over 25 planning projects and campaigns, including the King Township Sustainability Plan, St. Lawrence College Sustainability Plan, City of Guelph Wellbeing Initiative, and more.

Ariana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Western University and a Masters in Regional Planning from Ryerson University. She has worked at organizations like the Canadian Urban Institute, The Laneway Project, Lura Consulting, and as a Research Assistant at the Canadian Urban Institute.
