Ariadne Papagapitos
Ariadne Papagapitos is an experienced leader in the fields of peacebuilding and international development. She is a graduate of Union College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics, and completed an Arabic Language program at Middlebury College. Ariadne then attended the Department of Sociology at the London School of Economics, where she received a Master of Science in Law and Sociology.
Ariadne's professional journey began with her role as an Assistant in Public Information and Protection at UNHCR. She then worked as a Deputy Manager of Media Villages at the Athens 2004 Olympic Committee before moving on to work as a Project Manager at Belaku Trust. Ariadne later joined the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, where she worked in various roles including Special Assistant to the President, Program Associate for Peacebuilding, and Program Director for Peacebuilding. She also worked as a Senior Advisor at Global Whole Being Fund before joining Localized, a company that connects global professionals with job opportunities across the world. Ariadne co-founded Localized and now serves as the Director of New Markets.
Throughout her professional career, Ariadne has dedicated herself to promoting peace and justice through her work in various non-profit organizations. Her areas of expertise include peacebuilding, international development, research, and project management. She has also honed her skills in public relations, leadership, and interpersonal communication. Her interests include linguistics, politics, and travel.
