Ari Trachtenberg

Ari Trachtenberg is an experienced educator with a strong background in applying theoretical tools to practical environments, encompassing research, analysis, implementation, and development. He specializes in areas such as security, computer networks, algorithms, and error-correcting codes. Ari has extensive experience in software engineering across multiple programming languages like C++, C, Java, perl, mySQL, and python, along with a diverse range of environments including Android, Linux, Mac, and Windows.

Ari Trachtenberg pursued his S.B. in Mathematics with computer science at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a Ph.D. and an MS in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, he has studied at LMHS.

Currently, Ari Trachtenberg holds the position of Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University, where he continues to contribute to the field of academia and education.
