Aravind Srinivasan is a highly accomplished and esteemed Distinguished University Professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, and an Amazon Scholar at Amazon AWS. He has dedicated his career to conducting research, deploying products, and teaching classes on various topics, including algorithms, data science, networking, AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and many more. With several notable awards and recognitions under his belt, Srinivasan has been honored with the title of Distinguished University Professor, the highest academic distinction possible at the University of Maryland, six prestigious professional society memberships, and a Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Madras, to name a few. His expertise lies in fundamental algorithms, stochastic optimization, digital marketing, cloud optimization, public health, networking, fairness in AI, and internet advertising. Srinivasan has received research awards from organizations such as Adobe, Amazon, Google, the NSF, IARPA, and USARO.
