Arafet Makhlouf

Arafet Ben Makhlouf is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in software development and implementation. He has a strong background in data communication, computer networking, and FinTech technologies, particularly Blockchain, DLT, Digital assets, Tokenization, Cloud, and RESTful API.

Arafet completed his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax, Tunisia in 2006, and further pursued his education by obtaining MPhil and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2010 and 2014, respectively.

Throughout his career, Arafet has held key roles in reputable organizations such as ConsenSys, where he served as a Senior Technical Solution Architect, and Deloitte Consulting, where he contributed as a FinTech and Blockchain Senior Consultant. He also has experience as a Blockchain Programmer and Software Developer in logistic & supply chain management technologies, indicating his versatility in different domains.

Arafet's professional journey includes positions such as IT Projects Leader, Research Associate, and Teaching Assistant at various departments and centers within the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This diversified experience showcases his proficiency not only in industry settings but also in academic environments.
