April Sheets

April Sheets is an experienced executive search recruiter with over 20 years of experience. Her career began in a retained financial services search firm as a lead recruiter and manager of research. After gaining considerable expertise, she continued to develop and lead an in-house recruiting group within a prominent trust company with significant institutional trust assets and business. Currently, financial services recruiting is her core business, primarily serving the investment management industry. Besides investment management, she has also done successful searches for leaders of non-profit groups, Investor Relations Directors, and Talent Development Managers. April is active in the metals industry recruiting, where she fills a wide variety of management and commodity trading positions. She is also currently delving into the SAP Technology Consulting industry. Furthermore, throughout her career, she has built various networks and filled crucial positions in new industries when called upon to do so.

    April attained her education from Concordia University, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). She is currently serving as President at Sheets Associates Investment Search. Before founding Sheets Associates Investment Search, April served as Principal at Sheets Associates Executive Search, Inc. Earlier on, she worked as an AVP/Manager In-House Recruiting Unit at Boatmen's Trust Company.
