April Ellerbe is a seasoned sales professional with a focus on destination marketing and economic development for Durham, NC. She is currently the Director of Sales at the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB), where she leads the organization's efforts to promote Durham as a vibrant, visitor-centered destination. April has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having previously served as Director of National Accounts at the prestigious Pinehurst Resort, and as Deputy Campaign Advocate at New Century Planning. April studied Business Administration, Management and Operations at North Carolina Central University, and is accredited by the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program.
