Aparna Roy
Associate Fellow at Observer Research Foundation
Aparna Roy is an Associate Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), where she leads initiatives related to climate change and energy at the Centre for New Economic Diplomacy (CNED). Her research primarily focuses on the politics of climate change resilience and environmental governance, particularly concerning sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the Global South. She aims to provide insights into the complexities of climate change impacts and the effectiveness of resilience-building strategies in various development sectors.124
In addition to her role at ORF, Aparna serves as a guest lecturer at Charité University, Berlin, where she teaches about the interactions between climate change and social determinants of health. Aparna has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Master's degrees in Sociology and International Development.
