Aparna Ballakur

Aparna Ballakur is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kiwi.com, a global travel technology company based in the Czech Republic. She joined the company in January 2023, where she is responsible for leading the global Human Resources function and focusing on scaling the business and enhancing its progressive culture.13

Before her role at Kiwi.com, Aparna held significant positions in various renowned companies. She began her career in India, leading Human Resources at Adobe and Yahoo!, and later served as the Chief People Officer at Flipkart, which is India's largest e-commerce marketplace. She transitioned into the fintech sector with leadership roles at Naspers' PayU and most recently was the Chief People Officer at SumUp, a fintech giant.123

Aparna is based in Spain and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. She brings extensive experience in both strategic and operational human resources to her current position.24
