Aongus Hegarty is a seasoned board member, strategic advisor, and thought leader with over four decades of experience in global business, focusing on people, business, and technology.

With a background in BBS Accounting and Finance from the University of Limerick and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Aongus Hegarty has held various leadership positions at Dell Technologies, culminating in his role as President for International Markets covering 170+ countries.

Aongus Hegarty is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusivity, serving as Co-Chair of the Balance for Better Business initiative by the Irish Government and participating in organizations like the 30% Club Ireland and Special Olympics Ireland Council of Patrons.

He is the Founder of Lakeside Capital LTD, focusing on sustainable investments, and a member of the Global Advisory Council for VentureWave Capital, a private equity firm supporting impactful entrepreneurial ventures.

Aongus Hegarty has received prestigious accolades such as the Alumni Award for Outstanding Achievement from the University of Limerick and a life fellowship from the Irish Management Institute (IMI). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Limerick.
