Anuszka Mosurska
PhD student, University of Leeds
Anuszka Mosurska is a dedicated PhD student at the University of Leeds, focusing on disaster and humanitarian governance. She is fully-funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and has a strong background in risk and disaster reduction.
Anuszka holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Earth and Environment from the University of Leeds, a Master of Arts (MA) in Social Research from the same institution, and a Master of Research (MRes) in Risk and Disaster Reduction from UCL. She also completed a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Exeter and a program on International Perspectives on Business and Governance in the High North at Nord University.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Anuszka has contributed to various organizations and roles. She serves as the Secretary and social media officer at the UK Polar Network and has previously worked as a Co-Investigator on historical ecology for risk management projects. She also has experience as a research assistant at the University of Exeter and as a Home Energy Assessor at Falmouth & Exeter Students' Union.
