Anurag Rana

Anurag Rana is the CEO & Founder of Threye Interactive, a multiple award-winning, Google-accelerated computer game development studio that he founded in September 2012.2 He is an aviation enthusiast and entrepreneur with a diverse background in technology, design, and aerospace.

Rana's educational background includes:

• A B-Tech & M-Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he graduated with a gold medal as the best outgoing student.2
• Studies at the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) as a cadet, where he later topped the National Defense Academy entrance exam in 2000.2
• A Model Based Systems Engineering course from MIT xPRO in 2020-2021.2

His professional experience includes:

• Founding Antarix Animation and Graphics in 2011 before pivoting to Threye Interactive.2
• Working at ITC Ltd in various roles from 2005 to 2011, including marketing for India's top FMCG brand, Goldflake.2

Rana acquired his private pilot license in 20121 and has since been working on ventures that combine his passions for technology, design, and aviation. Threye Interactive specializes in mid-core segment games and immersive simulations for the aerospace and defense sectors.2

Under Rana's leadership, Threye Interactive has worked with notable clients such as the Indian Air Force, DRDO, and various national and international airlines.1 The company is also developing its own augmented reality headset for enterprise and military applications.1
