Anupam Biswal

Anupam Biswal is a professional in the development and social sector with a passion for addressing complex issues related to sustainable livelihoods, health, and education for youth and vulnerable populations.

Currently, Anupam is the leader of Last Mile Care, a health startup in India that aims to facilitate effective networking between service providers and care seekers.

With a background in corporate (EY, Accenture), international financial institutions (World Bank, ADB), and civil society organizations, Anupam has held leadership and program management roles in various governmental projects.

He has been instrumental in shaping policy initiatives in India, focusing on areas such as skill development for rural youth, vocational training through public-private partnerships, sanitation campaigns, and increasing farmers' income through entrepreneurship.

Anupam has extensive experience working in different regions across South Asia including Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Thailand, and Malaysia, leading international assignments and mentoring startups in diverse sectors.

Having a foundation in defense as an Indian Army Officer and rural management with an MBA from XISS, Ranchi, Anupam has also completed an executive program in management at Cornell University.

He enjoys coaching youth for careers in defense, mentoring startups in areas like land accelerators, health systems, and agricultural diversity, and nurturing a culture of empowerment.
