Anu Rangappa

Anu Rangappa is an accomplished professional who has worked in the government, political campaigns, and public relations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary. Anu's career began as an Advance Staff member at The White House, where she gained valuable experience in logistics and event planning. She then worked on several Democratic campaigns, including the Gore/Lieberman campaign and Kerry, Gore & Clinton campaigns. Later she joined The Dewey Square Group as a Principal, where she worked on public relations campaigns for multiple clients. Anu was also a Senior Advisor for General Election Strategies at Democratic National Committee. Her most recent role was Director, Office of Communications for Executive Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser, where she managed all aspects of the office's communications. Currently, Anu works as the VP of Social Impact for Monumental Sports & Entertainment. She works to help the organization's players and staff to make a positive impact in the community.
