Antonio Leonforte is a software architect with over 25 years of international experience across various application domains, from military real-time systems to large distributed information systems. He co-founded two companies in systems integration, where he oversaw the development of critical transactional systems, including Lottomatica's Ticketing System backend. As the co-founder and CEO of fhoster.com since 2008, he successfully raised €1.2M to create an innovative, model-driven Application Platform as a Service. Antonio's past roles include being the Chief Software Architect for SETA, the prominent Italian reservation and ticketing system, and leading the development of GAT, the data-analysis subsystem of the international HORIZON Naval Combat Management System. He also played a pivotal role in architecting GEDAP, a large distributed information system, for the 'Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri'. Antonio's expertise lies in managing large software projects, conceptual data modeling, database design, information and command/control systems development with distributed object-oriented architecture, CORBA architectures, model-driven architectures, and model-based code generation.
