Antonio Key is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Sunset Ventures, an early-stage venture fund with a presence in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
With a background in finance and management, Antonio was previously the Director of Investments at Samsung Next, focusing on software and services investments.
Prior to his venture capital career, Antonio worked as an M&A investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, managing transactions totaling $26 billion in enterprise value.
Before his banking role, he co-founded K.O.T. Marketing Group, a successful LA event marketing company, and began his professional journey as a Management Consultant at Deloitte.
Antonio holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, & Society from Stanford University, reflecting his strong educational foundation.
Currently living in San Francisco, Antonio is actively involved with Stanford's Office of Undergraduate Admissions' Outreach Volunteer Alumni Link program and the Stanford Black Alumni Association.
Antonio's commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident through his involvement in programs like Black Corporate Board Readiness, Toigo, MLT, and UCLA Anderson Riordan, aiming to increase access for under-represented talent in tech and venture capital.
