Antonio Eram

Antonio Eram is a tech industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the Romanian Internet and Telecom business. He has been actively involved in developing mobile technologies, mobile payments, and marketing services through his company NETOPIA, which he co-founded in 2003 in Bucharest with a branch in Silicon Valley.

As CEO of NETOPIA, Eram manages a range of services, including web2sms.ro, a self-managed platform for conducting mobile campaigns, and NETOPIA Payments, which has redefined the mobile and online payments market with over 50% market share. He has also led the development of the mobilPay Wallet, which provides unique mobile payments, commerce, and analytics services in Romania.

Beyond his work with NETOPIA, Eram has been involved in angel investments and mentorship for Romanian-based start-ups in IT, hardware, commerce, and services, and has a wide range of skills and expertise in internet and mobile solutions development, payment services, content-based services, games, business development, sales, product marketing, mobile content development, integration, and e and m-payment solutions.

Eram's educational background includes studies in management, international marine law, engineering, and ship construction at the "Mircea cel Batrân" Naval Academy.
