Antoine Delafargue
Antoine Delafargue is a seasoned oil and gas industry professional with a diverse and accomplished background. He has a strong engineering education, including a Master of Science in Mechanics and Economics from École Polytechnique and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Delafargue has held numerous positions within Total, one of the world's largest oil and gas companies. He is currently the Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of Total Carbon Neutrality Ventures, an arm of the company focused on investing in carbon reduction technologies. Prior to this, Delafargue was the Head of Petrophysics Service for Total, responsible for leading a team focused on understanding reservoir properties.
Delafargue also has significant experience on the ground, having worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in both the UK and Canada, and as the Deputy Geoscience Manager for the CLOV project in Angola. He started his career as an Aspirant in the French navy, and completed training in Reservoir Engineering at IFP Training.
