    Anthony Zwi is a renowned expert in development policy and practice, health policy, global health, humanitarian health, post-conflict situations, and the interface between research and policy and practice.

    He holds an impressive educational background, including a Matric from King David High School, multiple degrees in Development Studies from UNSW, an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, and an MB.BCh. in Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand.

    With a wealth of experience, Anthony has held various key roles in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as a Professor of Global Health and Development at UNSW. He was also the Chair of the Board of Directors at Aminata Maternal Foundation and worked as a Professor and Researcher at the Health Rights and Development HEARD@UNSW at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

    His past roles include being a member of the editorial committee at the Human Resources for Health journal, ACFID-Universities Network, and the Steering Committee at the Health and Fragile States Network. Anthony was also the Principal at UNSW's Human Resources for Health Knowledge Hub and the Head of School at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at UNSW.

    Anthony Zwi has a rich academic history, having contributed as a Policy Editor at the Social Science and Medicine Journal, a Senior Lecturer at the Health Policy Unit at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Tutor and Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. He has also collaborated on research and technical issues at the World Health Organization and served on the SEB Committee at TDR.
