Anthony Lilore is a sustainability specialist within fashion design, development, and production, with a concentration in the NYC Garment Center and Made in USA initiatives.
He has served as a Cultural and Textile Arts Envoy, representing the NYC Fashion Design community through the Dept. of State and US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, promoting cross-cultural education and commerce.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Anthony Lilore is a designer with expertise in fashion design, sustainability, process, and manufacturing. He is a frequent industry panelist and guest lecturer at top institutions like Parsons, Pratt, FIT, and Philadelphia University.
Anthony Lilore is a Parsons graduate and has worked in women's wear for brands like Bill Blass, Alfred Sung, Leslie Faye, and in men's wear as the Technical Design Director at Perry Ellis.
As the Co-Founder, Designer, Creative Director, and Producer of RESTORE Clothing, Anthony created an innovative, eco-active lifestyle brand with a transparent and accountable supply chain. The brand promotes mindful product choices and donates to environmental causes like 1% for the Planet and Green America.
He has been recognized for his contributions to sustainability and innovation in the apparel industry by organizations like APPAREL MAGAZINE, the Green Business Competition New York City, and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
Anthony Lilore is also a founding board member of SavetheGarmentCenter.org and has been involved in various roles in organizations such as THROW, FIT, Summersalt, Immaculate University Fashion Merchandising Advisor Board, Operation Warm, and NOCHAIRS, Inc.
With a goal to apply design thinking and intellectual property for a greater return on investment, Anthony is known for his specialties in design, sourcing, fit, and product development, positioning himself as a 'Project Solutionist'.
