Anthony Jack

Anthony Abraham Jack, an accomplished scholar, holds a BA in Women's and Gender Studies and Religion from Amherst College, as well as an AM and PhD in Sociology from Harvard University.

Currently, he serves as an assistant professor of education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a Junior Fellow at the prestigious Harvard Society of Fellows.

Anthony's research contributions have been recognized in publications such as The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Atlantic, and NPR. He is also the author of 'The Privileged Poor: How Elite Colleges Are Failing Disadvantaged Students,' a critically acclaimed book that has received several awards.

Throughout his academic journey, Anthony has received accolades from numerous prestigious organizations such as the American Educational Studies Association, American Sociological Association, and the Society for the Study of Social Problems.

His dedication to transforming higher education was acknowledged by the National Head Start Association, which named him a BOLD Alumni Leader. In recognition of his achievements, Muhlenberg College bestowed upon him an honorary doctorate in 2020.
