Company’s most senior brand leadership position reporting directly to the COO. Responsible for leading the strategic vision of the company´s brand portfolio and developing a 360 degree approach designed to evolve the brands and drive performance by optimizing every facet of the customer journey.

Responsible for developing the positioning, attributes and standards of each of the company’s six hotel brands as well as defining the overarching corporate brand architecture. Using data driven insights and analysis, developed strategic imperatives and action plans for each brand designed to directly build brand value.

Led the development of the content strategy and marketing/communication plans for all brands including; on-line and off-line advertising, social media, public relations, website development, and strategic brand partnership programs. Engaged with the Guest Experience teams for each brand, ensuring operational delivery of the “brand promise” and maintenance of brand integrity throughout the customer journey.

Meliá Hotels International

Most senior brand marketing position for the company’s global portfolio of premium hotel and resort products; Paradisus Resorts (luxury all-inclusive brand positioning), ME Hotels & Resorts (luxury lifestyle brand positioning), Gran Melia Hotels & Resorts (timeless luxury brand positioning).
Responsible for effectively integrating the company’s objectives and its different business units into brand strategies to grow revenue, margin, and market share.
Supervise global marketing and communication teams as well as all outsourced agency relationships.
Led the creation and implementation of all advertising, marketing, P.R. and communication campaigns for B2C and B2B. 
Oversaw all social media strategy as well as brand website design and functionality.
Actively involved in individual hotel business plan development and pricing strategies.

V.P. of Marketing, Premium Brand Portfolio

Responsible for a $50 MM global advertising and marketing budget reporting directly to company Chairman.
Directed all activities of Miami based lead agency handling North American markets as well as London (UK) agency handling Europe.
Led the creation of all advertising campaigns for company’s portfolio of brands; Sandals (adult couples only resorts), Beaches (family resorts), and Royal Plantation (luxury resorts).
Responsible for development of all brand campaigns and sales material.
Oversaw all wholesaler co-op marketing programs.
Developed and implemented retail travel agent co-op marketing programs ranging from local “one on one” activities to full national campaigns featuring toll free call router numbers driving leads back to participants. 
Supervised website design, on-line marketing activities.
Oversaw all consumer and trade mailings.
Actively participated in all company decisions relating to pricing and promotions.
Worked closely with public relations, promotions, and sales to maintain brand integrity across all areas of execution.
