Anshul Bhagi

CEO @ Camp K12 | MIT CS | McKinsey | Hiring Growth/Product/Metaverse

Anshul Bhagi is a former software engineer and creative coder who transitioned into education with a focus on using technology to solve significant problems.

During high school, from 2004 to 2007, Anshul founded two education organizations, one aimed at teaching science to middle schoolers and the other focused on teaching coding to high schoolers.

While pursuing his undergraduate degree from 2007 to 2011, Anshul created STEM and Coding curriculum for MIT, which was later implemented in K-12 institutions and colleges worldwide, including Italy, Brazil, China, Kenya, the US, and India.

Concurrently, in 2011-2012 during his master's program, Anshul collaborated with a team at MIT to develop MIT AppInventor, a free platform for teaching coding to kids that currently serves 10 million users globally.

In 2015, Anshul co-founded Code@HBS at Harvard, introducing coding and tech literacy to the HBS curriculum to equip future business leaders with essential tech skills.

An early initiative, Camp K12, evolved from a passion project in 2010 to India's first coding bootcamp for kids by 2015, leading Anshul to pivot the program in 2018 into a global online school focusing on 21st-century skills.

Camp K12 launched its online learning platform in 2019, secured fundraising in 2020, and is currently in the process of expanding the core team.

Anshul Bhagi's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a Master of Engineering in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Throughout his career, Anshul has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Camp K12, Co-Founder and Co-Author at Proffer Network, Co-Director of OpenEd.ai, Co-Founder of Ummo, and contributing to side projects at various companies.
