Anouk Mentink

Anouk Mentink is a versatile professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in journalism, cultural anthropology, and public service.

Anouk completed her VWO in Cultuur & Maatschappij at Ashram College before pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Hogeschool van Utrecht.

She furthered her academic pursuits by studying Cultural Anthropology and Developmental Sociology at Leiden University, as well as Political Science and Government at Universiteit Leiden.

Anouk has contributed her skills and expertise in various roles, including as a rescue diver at Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden and a former firefighter with the same organization.

Her commitment to journalism is evident through her past roles as a guest columnist at AD Haagsche Courant, a journalist for Dutch and international media, a reporter covering police and justice for AD NieuwsMedia, and as a freelance reporter under her own company, Anouk Mentink Media Producties.
