Annemarie Schouten

Annemarie Schouten is an accomplished professional with a strong background in the energy and solar development sector. She holds a Master's degree in Law and Economics and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utrecht, where she also completed an Honours Programme at Utrecht Law College.

Annemarie currently serves as the Head of Solar Development NL at Vattenfall, showcasing her expertise in driving solar energy initiatives and projects. Prior to her current role, she held various key positions at Vattenfall, including Business Lead NL Large-Scale Solar and Business Development Manager for Large Scale Solar.

Before her tenure at Vattenfall, Annemarie gained valuable experience in diverse roles such as General Manager at Leapfrog 3D Printers, Marketing and Sales Director at AV Flexologic B.V., and Area Sales Manager at the same company. She also interned at Loyens & Loeff in Energy Law and undertook thesis projects at ING Commercial Banking and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.

Annemarie's professional journey also includes significant contributions to organizations like Holland Solar, where she served as a Board Member for Large Scale Solar. Her leadership skills were honed during her time as President of AIESEC Utrecht and as the National Support Team member at AIESEC the Netherlands. Additionally, she excelled in roles such as Learning Programme Manager at AIESEC Utrecht.
