Anne Ruminski
Anne Ruminski, a materials chemist with over 10 years of experience in the industry, has a strong background in process and R&D for various types of materials including carbon fibers, semiconductors, oxides, thermoelectrics, and composites. She has a Ph.D. and M.S. in inorganic chemistry from the University of California, San Diego and a B.S. in chemistry from Ithaca College.
Throughout her career, Ruminski has gained expertise in material synthesis, surface chemistry modification, nanoscale and microscale characterization, failure analysis, technology on-boarding, process improvement, and next-generation material development. She has previously worked in leading global commercial manufacturers, high-performance start-ups, and academic environments, including roles such as Scientist II at Hexcel Corporation, Scientist at MATRIX Industries, and Materials Chemistry Post-Doctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
As a Sr. Scientist in Research & Technology at Hexcel Corporation, Ruminski continues to drive innovation in next-generation materials while refining manufacturing processes. Her extensive experience and skills have allowed her to excel in her career and become an accomplished figure in the materials science community.
