Anne Larrass-Gastaldo

Anne Larrass-Gastaldo is a seasoned communications specialist with over 12 years of experience providing language services to diverse organizations including non-profits, international aid agencies, the United Nations, and the Government of Canada.

Raised in a trilingual household, where she spoke German, English, and French, Anne's early exposure to multiple languages fueled her passion for communication. She expanded her linguistic repertoire by studying Spanish at university and taking private courses in Italian and Arabic, enabling her to engage in various countries and cultures through language.

After a successful career working with exceptional teams in countries like Chad, Haiti, Afghanistan, Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Canada, Anne joined Larrass Translations in London in 2016. Initially taking on the role of Regional Director, Europe, she later moved to Ottawa, Canada, where she now serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the family business, which specializes in providing translation services in numerous European languages.

Anne is particularly proud of the premium translation services offered by Larrass Translations, emphasizing a meticulous revising and proofreading process. The agency's team consists of highly skilled linguists with expertise in specific subject areas, catering to clients in public policy, legal sectors, scientific and technical fields, and marketing campaigns in new markets.

With a background in journalism from the University of King's College and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Victoria, Anne has held various roles such as Head of Marketing, Senior Communications Advisor, Communications Advisor, Media and Advocacy Consultant, Information Manager, Senior Officer of Communications, and Human Resources Manager in esteemed organizations like Larrass Translations, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, UN Women, CARE Canada, and Global Affairs Canada.
