    Scientia Senior Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at UNSW

    Anna Wang is a research scientist with a background in Applied Physics and a focus on solving complex problems, training students, and studying self-assembly and soft matter.

    She completed her Bachelor of Science in Physics, Mathematics, and Biochemistry at the University of Sydney, followed by a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Physics at Harvard University.

    Anna has experience working at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, NASA Postdoctoral Program, Massachusetts General Hospital, and is currently a Scientia Senior Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at UNSW Sydney, where she leads a research group.

    Her research interests include the origin of life from simple chemicals, self-assembly, and soft matter, and she has received grants such as ARC DECRA and Human Frontier of Science Program to support her work.
