Anna Torrents-Cabestany, a Ph.D. in Materials and Manufacturing Technology from UC Irvine, with 14 years of experience in materials research, testing, and characterization. Her expertise encompasses materials formulation and thermal analysis of UHMWPE, PTFE, and PEEK based polymers and composites, metallurgical analysis of stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, cobalt and nickel based super alloys. Her extensive knowledge led her to conduct failure analysis investigations for materials engineering. Anna has worked as a R&D Materials Engineer/ Research Scientist at Bal Seal Engineering and as a Teaching and Graduate Research Assistant at UCI Samueli School of Engineering. With a proficiency in writing technical reports, presentations, purchasing materials specifications, and standard operating procedures, she has an outstanding track record in her field.
