Anna Miller

Anna Lekas Miller, an accomplished investigative journalist and editor, specializes in refugee and migration issues, disinformation tactics, and diversity in the media.

She has served as the Communications Manager at the Media Diversity Institute, overseeing the creation of original content on media and diversity issues, including coverage of significant events like the COVID-19 pandemic and the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

Anna managed the Media Diversity Institute's involvement in the Adwa2 project, a unique network of Arabic-speaking investigative journalists combatting disinformation in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.

Her previous experience includes working as a foreign correspondent in the Middle East, reporting on topics such as the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the Syrian civil war, the refugee crisis, and the conflict against the Islamic State.

Anna has contributed to reputable publications like Vanity Fair, CNN, Al Jazeera, and The Intercept, among others, showcasing her expertise in the field of journalism and investigative reporting.
