Anna Laurie Miller

Anna Miller is an accomplished writer, activist, and media maker with a passion for storytelling to promote social and environmental justice. She graduated with cum laude honors in Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park and has worked with various non-profit organizations, including AIDA- Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense, where she served as Communications Manager. Anna was the former owner of Illuminated Lens Media, Digital Content Coordinator at Buffalo Media Works, Production Coordinator for the IKIAM Documentary at Nomadic Hands, Director of Community Outreach at Latin American Cultural Association, and Associate Editor at Buffalo Rising.

As a writer, Anna has a wealth of experience that spans different sectors, from environmental policy to immigration to culture. She leverages her background to produce quality content that resonates with diverse audiences. Her current role as Communications Manager at AIDA allows her to use her storytelling skills to raise awareness on environmental issues affecting different communities.
