Ann Mayahi

Ann Mayahi is a dedicated ALE (Alternative Learning Environment) Special Education Teacher with a strong background and commitment to supporting students with special needs.

She has advanced training through the NEISD Special Education Leadership Cohort and excels in organization and efficiency within a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Known for her creativity and prioritization skills, Ann was selected as one of six individuals to develop and implement curriculum for Students with Special Needs in an Alternative Learning Environment.

She also serves as a Technology Trainer, providing guidance to fellow teachers working with special needs students in an ALE setting.

Ann specializes in Middle School Curriculum Writing for ALE, Year at a Glance, and training teachers for special education and alternative learning environments.

Her educational background includes a Diploma in General Studies from Charles Page High School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from East Central University.

Ann Mayahi has held various roles in different organizations, including being a Special Education Teacher at NEISD, a Substitute Teacher, and holding positions in sales, marketing, and management.
