Ann Kinnear

Ann Kinnear is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of midwifery. She studied High School at Mareeba State High School and Mt St Bernard College in Australia before pursuing a Master’s Degree in Interprofessional Studies and Midwifery at London South Bank University. Ann also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology/Animal Biology, Chemistry, and Geography from James Cook University.

Ann has had a prolific career, serving in various key roles within the midwifery sector. She is currently working as a Midwifery Consultant, leveraging her expertise to provide valuable insights and guidance. Previously, Ann held the position of Business Manager at CARE Midwifery and served as the Board Chair at the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council.

In addition to her professional roles, Ann has been actively involved in the governance of organizations. She has served as a Director at the Rhodanthe Lipsett Indigenous Charitable Trust and as the CEO of the Australian College of Midwives, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change within the industry.
