Ankita Roy

Ankita Roy is a transdisciplinary designer with a passion for using design as a tool for systemic change and social impact.

She specializes in service design, systems thinking, design strategy, and facilitation to address complex social challenges.

Ankita has worked on various programs focusing on racial equity in healthcare, improving service access, economic prosperity, internal culture change, and participatory design processes.

Currently, Ankita serves as a Design Lead at ideo.org in New York City, building on her previous experiences at organizations like Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, International Rescue Committee, and NYC Mayor's Office.

Her multicultural background, having been born in India, raised in Hong Kong, and now based in Brooklyn, influences her pluralistic view of the world, oriented towards justice, liberation, and continuous growth.

Ankita holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing & Management of Organizations from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
