Anjuli Lebowitz

Anjuli Lebowitz is the Judy Glickman Lauder Curator of Photography at the Portland Museum of Art, a position she has held since October 2023. Prior to this role, she served as the Associate Curator of Photography at the same museum from January 2022 to October 2023, and as the Associate Curator of Photography from September 2021 to January 2022. Her extensive experience in the field includes positions at prestigious institutions such as the National Gallery of Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she worked in various curatorial and research capacities.

Lebowitz holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Boston University, and her educational background includes degrees from Williams College and the University of Chicago. She has also taught art history at Boston University and has been involved in numerous curatorial projects throughout her career.123
