Dr. Anita Sengupta
CEO Hydroplane Ltd. and Professor of Astronautical Engineering
Dr. Anita Sengupta is an accomplished aerospace engineer and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Hydroplane, a position she has held since August 2020. She is also an Associate Professor at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where she has been teaching since September 2013.
Her extensive career includes significant roles at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she worked for over a decade in various capacities, including Senior Project Manager and Senior Systems Engineer. Notably, she was involved in critical projects such as the Mars Entry Descent and Landing and the Venus Entry System. Prior to her current endeavors, she served as Senior Vice President at Hyperloop One from 2017 to 2019.
