Anishah Cumber

Anishah Cumber is an accomplished attorney specializing in special education law and disability rights advocacy. She serves as Of Counsel at The Law Office of Elisa Hyman, P.C. in New York City, a position she has held since September 2016. In her role, she represents parents of children with special needs, focusing on securing appropriate educational services and support for her clients.12

Education and Early Career

Anishah obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought from Amherst College in 2002, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2005.
