Anis Uzzaman Ph.D.

Anis Uzzaman, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor at Kyoto University, specializing in Philosophical Entrepreneurship Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University. In addition to his role at Kyoto University, Uzzaman is the Founder and CEO of Pegasus Tech Ventures, a venture capital firm that manages over $2 billion in assets. His firm invests in various sectors, including IT, health technology, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, and has a significant portfolio that includes investments in well-known companies like SpaceX and Airbnb.21 He is also the Chairman of the Startup World Cup, which promotes global innovation and entrepreneurship.2
