Anil Gupta is a seasoned Technopreneur with over 17 years of experience in leading businesses with a strategic mindset and a people-centric approach.

His educational background includes studying HSC in Commerce and Accounts at Sanatan Dharm Vividh Laxi High School and completing BCA in Computer Science from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University.

Over the last 16 years, I’ve watched Multidots dance through every one of them.
Here’s what I found when I looked at our growth year by year:

Spring = Epic Growth (50%+) These years were rocket fuel. 2009, 2010, 2013, 2015, and 2021. New clients. Bold moves. Big jumps.

Summer = High Growth (30–50%) Steady climbs. Solid wins. 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016. We built muscle and systems.

Fall = Normal Growth (10–30%) Slower. Intentional. Strategic. 2017 to 2019, and again in 2023. We were planting seeds for the future — US office, clearer focus.

Winter = Low or No Growth (<10%) The hard seasons. 2020, 2022, and 2024. Every time it hurt. Every time it helped.
Some wild patterns:
— Our first Winter didn’t show up till Year 12 — We never had two Winters in a row — Every Winter was followed by a strong Spring (But only if I rolled up my sleeves and got back in the game)
One time, we went straight from Spring to Winter.
Why?
I chased product dreams and ignored the basics. Big mistake.
Every time I chased shiny objects — we slipped. Every time I focused on our core — we rose.
The truth?
As your agency matures, 20–30% growth is a win. Not every year has to be wild.
But every single Winter made us better. We came back sharper. Tighter. Stronger.
And the thing that always saved us?

I don’t want work-balance.
I want to build something I care about.
And I want to be around the people I love while I do it.
That’s it.
I don’t care if I work 12 hours one day and 2 hours the next. I don’t care if I write on a Sunday or nap on a Tuesday.
I care about meaning. Energy. Alignment.
Work-life balance sounds cute on paper. But in real life?
Life doesn’t come in perfect blocks. And creativity doesn’t follow office hours.
So I stopped chasing balance.
And started designing my days around what matters most.
Try it. It feels better than burnout.
