Angus Strom

Angus Strom is a Senior Offensive Security Engineer at Salesforce, based in Sydney, Australia. He has been with Salesforce since May 2022, where he focuses on offensive and application security. His work involves conducting deep dive security engagements across the Salesforce ecosystem and developing security tools to automate assurance processes in niche technology stacks. He also leads large-scale security assessments and collaborates with detection and response teams during incidents.1

Prior to joining Salesforce, Angus held several key positions in cybersecurity firms. He served as a Managing Security Consultant at Sekuro from October 2021 to May 2022, where he managed end-to-end engagement processes and was involved in developing automated Red Team infrastructure using tools like Cobalt Strike, Git, Terraform, and Ansible. Before that, he worked at Privasec as a Senior Security Consultant, improving penetration testing methodologies and ensuring quality standards across various security engagements.1

Angus is also known for his active participation in the cybersecurity community, having presented workshops and talks at notable conferences such as DEF CON. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Network Security from TAFE NSW.1
