Abilitech Medical CEO Angie Zavoral Conley has dedicated her career to developing innovative medical devices that help people overcome physical limitations caused by muscle weakness or injury. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and English from the University of Saint Thomas, Conley honed her expertise in developing products in conjunction with physicians, engineers, and patients during her time as Senior Product Marketing Manager at Medtronic. Later, as Executive Director at Magic Arms for the World, a nonprofit that created a device to help children with arthrogryposis use their arms, she experienced firsthand the positive impact of such technologies on people's daily lives. This experience inspired her to found Abilitech Medical, a company that develops and commercializes robotic orthotics to help 75,000 people affected by muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis. Under Conley's leadership, Abilitech Medical has been recognized with several awards, including the TEKNE Award, the Minnesota Business Cup Grand Prize, and recognition as a Top Woman-led company and Life Science company. With her mission to restore independence to those who live with neuromuscular weakness or injury in their arms, Conley's innovative and compassionate approach to medical device development promises to change lives.
