Angie Herrera Rueda

Angie Herrera Rueda is a dedicated professional with 10 years of experience in fundraising, capacity building, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as knowledge management.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Relations, and a Master's degree in International Affairs from Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Throughout her career, Angie has worked in various sectors including the public, private, and third sectors, showcasing her versatility and expertise.

With a strong background in fundraising, Angie has contributed her skills to organizations like the Colombian Commission of Jurist and Oxfam, successfully raising funds for projects in human rights, humanitarian aid, and development.

She has collaborated with key donors such as ECHO, European Union, DFID, CIDA, SDC, SIDA, NORAD, and private foundations, demonstrating her ability to build strategic partnerships.

Angie's role as an Advisor at the National Planning Department of the Colombian government involved capacity building and coordination activities with local entities and central government institutions.

Her consulting experience at Co-Creamos focused on project proposals, monitoring, evaluation systems, workshops, logic framework development, and the theory of change.

Currently, Angie serves as the Development Manager at Latin American Women's Aid, building on her extensive background in development work.

Her previous roles at Latin American Women's Aid, Oxfam, DNP, IWORDS Global, and the Colombian Commission of Jurist have enriched her professional journey and contributed to her well-rounded skill set.
