Benefits Specialist

Responsible for the onboarding process for new employees using various systems from start to finish.
•	Responsible for employee new hire orientation, training new employees and serving as point of contact for any HR related needs.
•	Ensure accuracy and compliance of employment records including tracking and updating of hiring/rehiring, leaves, promotions, demotions, transfers, salary adjustments, and personal information. 
•	Administer and coordinate all employee benefits, managing enrollments, terminations, and Cobra qualifying events. Work closely with vendors and broker to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage leaves, FMLA, vacation, and other time off, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
•	Assist with the annual compensation review process working with Department heads, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the organization.
•	Generate and analyze comprehensive reports to provide valuable insights into key HR metrics.
• Partner with the payroll department to ensure accuracy of timecards and employee pay.
• Maintain all employee files and kept current on personnel policies and procedures.
•	Maintain and update the employee personnel manual.
• Manage termination processes, including delivering termination checklists and conducting exit interviews.
• Manage the company wellness initiative and coordinate annual onsite wellness screening and flu shots.
• Review, track, and document continuing education (CPE) and work assessments for all CPAs to ensure compliance.
• Serve on firm committees such as Human Resources, CPE, Orientation and Training, Benefits, Recruiting, and Wellness.

Human Resources Coordinator

Served as director of internship program, hosting 34 summer associates from 26 law schools across the country.  Responsible for all aspects of the interviewing and on-boarding process related to law students and lateral attorneys.   
•	Functioned as professional mentor for summer law interns.  Managed project workload and coordinated all training and social events which resulted in an improved internship experience and assisted in developing a pipeline for future hires.  
Served as key firm representative for recruited law students and newly-hired attorneys, resulting in a positive first impression of the firm.
