Angell Tsang, Technical Co-Founder & CTO at Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery

Angell Tsang is the Technical Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery, a software-driven delivery logistics restaurant concept based in Austin, Texas.1 As the CTO, he is responsible for:

• Planning and designing a custom e-commerce front-end platform for on-demand food delivery and takeout
• Planning and designing a custom CMS and order management platform to manage kitchen orders in a digital-only kitchen, with API integration with delivery services
• Using technologies such as React.js, Node.js, Jenkins, Gitlab, and AWS

Under Tsang's leadership, Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery has expanded to 3 stores in South, Northwest, and Central Austin, TX, with a 4th store opening soon in Round Rock.1

Prior to founding Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery, Tsang held several engineering leadership roles:

• Senior Engineering Manager at Dosh, where he implemented mature and modern quality processes with automation1
• Director of Engineering and Operations at Medici, overseeing iOS, Android, Web, and Server products1
• Head of Quality Assurance at Medici, establishing quality and automation strategy across multiple products1
• QA Team Lead at Bazaarvoice, managing multiple overseas QA teams to test client product integrations1

Tsang graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.1 In 2020, he was recognized as an Austin Chamber A-LIST Spotlight Winner.1
