Angelica Lau

Angelica Lau is a post-doctoral research scientist and councillor of the Australian & New Zealand Society for Immunology (ASI).

With over 7 years of experience in the medical research sector, Angelica has honed skills in strategic thinking, leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Her education includes a Ph.D. in Medicine from UNSW Australia, a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry & Immunobiology with Honours Class I from the University of Sydney, and high school at Marist Sister's College Woolwich.

Angelica's professional experience includes roles such as Postdoctoral Research Officer at Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Conjoint Associate Lecturer at St Vincent's Clinical School (Faculty of Medicine, UNSW), ASI Councillor and Editor at the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology Inc., and Tutor and Demonstrator at the University of Sydney.

She excels in delivering quality research, providing consultation to key stakeholders, establishing outreach programs, and is now seeking opportunities to apply her skills in delivering health initiatives and improving global health.
