Angela Sanchez

Angela M. Sánchez (she/they) is a Mexican American writer based in Los Angeles who specializes in writing action-adventure stories with magical elements.1 They worked as a Program Officer for College Success at ECMC Foundation from July 2015 to October 2021.1 In this role, Sánchez:

1. Led the Basic Needs Initiative, managing a $3.1M grant program for 78 campuses.1
2. Developed strategies for awarding $12 million+ annually to support college persistence and completion for marginalized students.1
3. Initiated foundation-wide efforts to develop diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.1
4. Managed interns and projects related to basic needs and DEI development.1
