Angela Romans is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in nonprofit and public sector leadership, focusing on equitable access to post-secondary education for marginalized youth.
Currently, Angela works as a racial equity and leadership consultant, coach, and facilitator, supporting Black and Brown leaders and organizations to empower at-risk youth.
Her expertise lies in leadership development, racial equity, education access, and reform, where she guides organizations and senior leaders in strategy, governance, collaborative action, and diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Angela is known for her facilitative leadership style and systems thinking approach, honed through managing complex systems-change projects.
Starting her journey in biomedical engineering, Angela shifted her focus to education, serving in various roles from teacher to government official before becoming an organizational and leadership consultant.
She holds an Ed.M. degree in Math Teaching and Curriculum with a focus on urban education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an S.B. in biomedical engineering from Harvard University.
